These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by nwmoon Education LLC (“nwmoon”, “NWmoon”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, purchasing lesson packages, or subscribing to our services, you (“Student”, “Parent/Guardian”, “User”) agree to these Terms. If the User is a minor, a parent/guardian must accept these Terms on their behalf.
nwmoon provides online English lessons with qualified teachers, plus digital resources through our platform. Future courses (e.g., Chess, General Knowledge, Coding) may be added, and these Terms will apply unless otherwise specified.
Information provided during registration must be accurate.
Parents/Guardians are responsible for minors’ use of the platform, payments, and ensuring a safe environment for learning.
Parents/Guardians may request deletion or correction of a child’s data in line with our Privacy policy.
Accounts may not be shared with others, except where explicitly allowed for family transfer in certain packages.
Users must keep login credentials secure. nwmoon is not responsible for losses arising from shared or compromised accounts.
Minimum digital consent age applies: In the EU/EEA, parental/guardian consent is required if the user is under the local digital consent age (13–16 depending on country).
Packages are available in 12, 28, and 52 lessons.
The 52-lesson package requires a minimum of two lessons per week and may be transferred to family members.
Lessons must be used within the following validity periods:
12 lessons → 4 months
28 lessons → 5 months
52 lessons → 7 months
Expired lessons are forfeited without refund.
Refunds Lesson packages are refundable for unused lessons.
Refund = (total price ÷ number of paid lessons) × unused lessons − transaction/administrative fees − value of used bonus lessons.
Bonus lessons are valued at the same per-lesson price as the purchased package.
Example: 28 lessons = €1,260 (€45 each) + 2 bonus lessons. If cancelled after 10 lessons, refund covers 18 unused lessons (€810), minus transaction fees and €90 for 2 bonus lessons. All lesson packages and subscriptions are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Subscriptions provide access to additional platform features (not live lessons).
Subscriptions are offered as:
Monthly payments at the standard price → cancellable anytime before the next billing cycle; no refunds for past months. Subscriptions end automatically when the paid period expires or when a monthly plan is cancelled.
Payments must be made in advance.
Payment methods are listed at checkout (e.g., card, PayPal, local gateways).
Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
Students may cancel/reschedule with at least 8 hours’ notice. Otherwise, the lesson is deducted.
Teachers cancelling with less than 8 hours’ notice → students receive a free lesson.
Scheduling availability: nwmoon does not guarantee 24/7 availability or specific time slots.
Scheduling depends on teacher availability and mutual agreement between teacher and student.
nwmoon may occasionally suspend services for maintenance or updates; affected lessons will be rescheduled without cost to students.
All lessons are audio recorded for quality control, compliance, and safety.
nwmoon owns all lesson recordings, materials, and data submitted by students (answers, writings, uploads).
Users may not record or distribute lessons without written permission.
Research use: nwmoon may use anonymised or aggregated data for research, publications, or sharing with third parties, in accordance with our Privacy policy.
Students/Guardians must: Treat teachers and staff respectfully.
Not engage in harassment, abuse, or illegal behavior.
Not misuse the platform or share inappropriate content.
Not share accounts or login credentials.
Not record, reproduce, or redistribute platform content or lessons without permission.
Violations may result in suspension/termination without refund.
Teachers are expected to maintain professionalism.
Misconduct is investigated by nwmoon and may result in suspension or termination.
Students are always entitled to a free replacement lesson if a teacher cancels or fails to appear.
(Teacher fines and penalties are handled under teacher contracts, not student-facing Terms.)
Students are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection. Lessons missed due to student-side internet issues are not refunded or rescheduled.
If a teacher’s internet fails:
First occurrence → replacement lesson provided.
Repeated issues → teacher actioned internally; student always receives replacement lesson.
All platform content, recordings, materials, branding, and documentation remain the exclusive property of nwmoon Education LLC.
Users receive only a personal, limited license for learning purposes.
Reproduction, resale, or redistribution is prohibited.
nwmoon is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or technical issues outside our control.
Liability is capped at the amount paid for the relevant service.
We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to; natural disasters, strikes, government actions, wars, terrorism, internet outages, or third-party technical failures.
nwmoon may suspend or terminate accounts for: Non-payment,
Breach of Terms,
Misconduct by student, guardian, or teacher.
Refunds are not provided if termination is due to user misconduct.
Users must first attempt to resolve complaints by contacting support@nwmoon.com. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by Armenian courts, unless mandatory consumer protections in the EU/EEA provide otherwise.
These Terms are governed by Armenian law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU/EEA, you may also be entitled to rely on the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
EU/EEA consumers usually have a 14-day withdrawal right for online purchases. By scheduling or attending lessons immediately after purchase, you expressly request that services begin and agree to waive the 14-day withdrawal right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of services = acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid. These Terms, together with our Privacy policy, our Refund & Cancellation Policy, Disclaimer & Liability Notice, Code of Conduct, and Child Safety Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and nwmoon.
